The Public Information Committee of Eastern Washington Section has met regularly for breakfast on the last Wednesday of each month for more than 40 years. The current group gathers at Sterling's Restaurant on George Washington Way in Richland from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. for informal discussions of evolving nuclear topics.  No invitation or notification is required to attend.

The history of the group includes a series of summer workshops for educators, donations to statewide public libraries of extensive book selections for the lay reader, and topical speakers on nuclear realities for classrooms, special events, and community organizations.
